streams with heavy soap and left to dry in the sun, or, in winter, were turned face down on the snow and vigorously beaten.
Since
than, cleaning has become much more sophisticated and can actually prolong the life of a rug. However many commercial rug
shampoos dehydrate the pile and fail to clean deeply and it is difficult to dry rugs adequately at home, damp may promote
decay. We offer professional cleaning services and 30 years of experience.
Restoration & Valuation
Shall
a client be interested in restoration, we are able to offer advice as well as the restoration itself. The repairs done
at our gallery are up to the highest standard as we do employ one of the best restorers around. For clients, who wish to have their
carpet valued either for insurance purposes or to sell it, we can issue a Certificate of Valuation.
